Spaces Available to Rent
Friedens United Church of Christ is blessed to have a beautiful, spacious, versatile and welcoming building and campus. We offer several different areas that are ideal for groups and individuals to rent. Information about these areas is listed below. Church (Sanctuary)
Our beautiful sanctuary is equipped with a complete sound system and microphones with stands (4,707 sf, and seats 200).
Narthex
Our 4,273 sf narthex is directly outside the parlor, chapel and sanctuary. It is frequently used for receptions, meetings, trainings and as a gathering place for fellowship. It is equipped with movable tables and chairs as well as a water cooler, coffee/tea station and small sink.
Chapel
Friedens’ Chapel is the perfect place for small intimate weddings or meditative groups. The chairs are easily moved to accommodate your event’s specific need. (527 sf)
Parlor
Our 433 sf parlor is great for small meetings and is equipped with a small table in the center of the room, with space around it to set up presentations. It is also equipped with a sofa and comfortable side chairs as well as a sink, microwave, coffee maker and small bathroom.
Hayden Hall
Hayden Hall is our largest and most versatile space (10,152 sf) that is frequently used by large as well as small groups for conferences, plays, luncheons, dinners, meetings, worship services and a variety of other activities. The large open space provides an ability to customize your seating and/or table arrangement to suit the needs of your function. It features a beautiful raised stage with floor to ceiling curtains and a half court basketball area. Restrooms with showers are adjacent to Hayden Hall.
Kitchen
The kitchen is adjacent to Hayden Hall. It is a fully equipped kitchen featuring two double ovens and warmers, two large ranges, microwave oven, large center island and lots of counter space, with small sinks, full sized freezer and commercial sized double refrigerator. Dishes and flatware are also available for your use at no extra charge. The adjacent room is equipped with an industrial dishwasher and two commercial size sinks. (417 sf)
Classrooms
Our classrooms are an ideal space for small, intimate gatherings in a casual setting.
Kendall Center
The Kendall Center is an informal, medium size room with a small stage, upright piano and computer. (1,303 sf)
Baseball Diamond/Sports Area
An area is available on the west side of our property that could be used for various activities including kickball, youth soccer, youth softball (the field is not large enough for adult baseball or softball), t-ball, ultimate frisbee, flag football and volleyball.
Equipment
Tables
Various tables are available for use during your event at Friedens. We have round tables that seat 6-8 and rectangle tables that seat 8-10.
Chairs
Padded folding chairs are available to use in the Hayden Hall, as well as for extra seating in other areas.
Note: Because allergic reactions to latex can be severe, latex balloons and latex gloves are not allowed in any part of the building or on the grounds. Thank you for your cooperation.
