This installment in the HOPE Talks series is "Let there be Light: How We See" - a discussion about God's word to us as His creation. This Word, "Let there be light" is a call for us to let God's light shine in us and on us, a call to let us see Him,ourselves, each other and our world as God does. How can this Light still help us as we engage with those who are different?
More specifically, as we celebrate Women's History Month, how can this light help us put our own and others' gender and gender identity in proper perspective? How can God's light illuminate the places where and ways in which women are seen, treated and valued as less than men? How can this light lead us to a way of being that supports the reality of our identities and value as men and women, as God's creation, as heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ?
